EQUATE sponsors Rijeemy Walkathon
EQUATE Petrochemical Company, Kuwait’s first private sector petrochemical company, sponsored a walkathon organized by Rijeemy Center at 360 Mall during the holy month of Ramadan.
Commenting on the sponsorship, EQUATE Vice President for Technical Services Mohammad Al Benali said, “Health and awareness issues are two main elements in EQUATE Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which is reflected in our sponsorship of the Rijeemy Walkathon as part of supporting all relevant sustainability-based efforts throughout Kuwait.”
Al Benali noted, “EQUATE believes that raising awareness about health related issues is a key factor in supporting the overall sustainability of Kuwait. Throughout the years, EQUATE has launched a number of health and awareness activities for promoting a healthy lifestyle of regular exercise, proper eating habits and other relevant matters, such as EQUATE Initiative for a Healthy Society (Khaffif), EQUATE Awareness Campaign for Hypertension (Stay Normal) and EQUATE Awareness Campaign for Diabetes (Stay Normal 2), all of which in cooperation with relevant organizations as part of our tagline ‘Partners in Success’ as it is also currently being applied with Rijeemy Center.”
On the closing ceremony of Rijeemy Walkathon, EQUATE, represented by Corporate Communications Leader Kholoud Al-Feeli, was recognized for this partnership by Undersecretary of State Ministry for Youth Affairs Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah and Chairman & Managing Director of The Scientific Center Kuwait (TKSC) Mijbil Al-Mutawa.
