Fuego celebrates twelve month anniversary
Fuego, Souk Al Bahar’s favourite Mexican restaurant today announces its first anniversary celebrations. Opened on June 6th 2013 by visionary brothers Adarsh Kumar and Arjun Kumar, Fuego has been consistent at offering new dishes every quarter tempting loyal customers back to the restaurant time and again.
Of the celebrations, co-owner Adarsh Kumar says “We started with a small team of 14 people, but with the help from the local community and tourists alike we have prospered and now have a team of 20. Our statistics show that we have had an average of 1800 new visitors to the restaurant every month, which clearly shows the demand for authentic Mexican food in the city, and Fuego promises to only bring more to the table this year. We have also got several requests to cater for private events, which is something we intend to initiate later this year.”
Fuego has planned a week-long of festivities for this special celebration beginning from the 1st of June until the 7th featuring sparkling performances and live entertainment every day that week. To mark 12 months of success, during the week, Fuego will be offering an a la carte menu with loads of discount offers such as ‘buy one get one free’ and meal deals for as low as Dhs12.
Executive Head Chef Jose Morales said of his plans for the coming year` “The menu for Fuego has evolved over the past year, we opened Fuego with some fantastic traditional and contemporary dishes on the menu, however after a visit to my homeland – Mexico, I was very inspired and have added a number of new popular Mexican dishes .We have also most recently added a special vegetarian menu which is conceptualized by Chef Anil Kumar and supported by the MeVeg forum.”
Finally, to give back to their devoted customers, Fuego will be giving out 12 free meals to the first 12 people who dine at the restaurant, celebrating their birthday during the week of festivities.
