Haagen Dazs, the world-renown exquisite ice cream brand, has opened on 27th May, 2014 the Haagen Dazs Al Gosaibi Café for the connoisseurs in Al Khobar.
The famous brand celebrated this event by organizing a grand and distinctive reception, honored by the presence of the Eastern Chamber of Commerce’s Chairman HE Abdulrahman Bin saleh Al Otaishan, the Chamber’s Secretary General HE Abdulrahman Al Wabel and members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, in addition to a select group of VIPs. The ceremony host was Al Othman Holding Company, represented by Mr. Abdulaziz Al Othman, who welcomed the guests and showcased a range of unique flavors created and produced by the well-known Haagen Dazs brand.
Mr. Mehdi Berrada, General Mills’ regional Senior Brand Manager for Häagen-Dazs, paid tribute to the efforts deployed by Al-Othman Holding on behalf of the brand.
“This new Häagen-Dazs Café will strengthen the iconic ice cream brand’s presence in Al Khobar, and is one of the first venues to incorporate the brand’s new exclusive and luxurious design” he said, adding: “It heralds the new ongoing hospitality outlets Häagen-Dazs is planning for Saudi Arabia, which will see it extend its presence throughout the Kingdom. The new design will make visits to our café an even more luxurious experience for our consumers.”
The Häagen-Dazs Al-Gosaibi café joins the brand’s existing outlets in the Kingdom, bringing the number of cafes to 40 in total in the region. This comes ahead of an ambitious expansion drive which should should see the House of Häagen-Dazs extend its hospitality and unique experience closer to its consumers throughout Saudi Arabia.
This is in line with a most successful year in the region for the Haute Couture of ice cream brands. Launched in May 2013, the new “House of Häagen-Dazs” was announced, conveying their philosophy of iconic luxury, experience and superior craftsmanship much in the way a fashion house would do.
While Häagen-Dazs has plans to schedule several special events at the new Al-Gosaibi café, today will see it extend a special opening night for ladies only.
