HMC hospitals announce operating hours for Ramadan
In observance of the Holy Month of Ramadan,Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) announces Ramadan operating hours for its hospitals as follows:
Hamad General Hospital’s (HGH) Outpatient (OPD) morning clinics will open from8:00am to1:00pm, Sunday to Thursday,and evening clinics from 8:30pm to 11:00pm.
The HGH Pediatric 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor satellite pharmacies will open from 8:00am to 1:00pm. The ground floor pharmacy will operatein the morning from 8:00am to 2:00pm and in the evening from8:30pm to 12:00am(midnight).
The HGH Phlebotomy (blood test) OPD Laboratory will open from 7:00am to 2:00pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday. For evening clinics, the OPD Laboratory will run from 8:30pm to 11:30pm.
Women’s Hospital OPD will operate in the morning from 8:00am to 1:00pm,Sunday to Thursday, and in the evening from 7:30pm to 10:00pm,Sunday to Wednesday. Women’s Hospital Pharmacy will continue to operate 24/7.
OPD Clinics at Heart Hospital, Al Wakra Hospital, The Cuban Hospital and Al Khor Hospital will open to patients from 8:00am to 1:00pm, Sunday to Thursday.For patients with booked times at The Cuban Hospital, the Orthopedic, Cosmetic Surgery and Gynecology/Maternity Clinics will open from 7.00am to 1:00pm.Patients are encouraged to contact the respective hospitalsif they have any inquiries about the timings for specific services.
The Al Khor Hospital’s OPD Pharmacy will open from 7:00am to 1:00pm while the Emergency Department’s Pharmacy is operational 24/7.
OPD Clinics and Pharmacy at Rumailah Hospital (RH) will operate morning shift only from 8:00am to 1:00pm, Sunday to Thursday. The Dental Clinic will open in the morning from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and in the evening from 8:30pm to 10:30pm. The Dermatology Clinic will open only in the daytime from 8:00am to 1:00pm.
RH’s Hands Unit will open in the morning from 7:00am-3:00pm and the afternoon shift starts from 11:00am to7:00pm all days except on Mondays. Maxillofacial Unit will run in the evening between 8:30pm and 11:30pm from Sunday-Tuesday. Tuberculosis Clinic will open from 8:00am to5:00pm while DOTS Therapy Unit will attend to patients from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. There will be no evening clinics at Psychiatry and Geriatrics departments.
The Physiotherapy Clinic at RH will operate from Sunday-Thursday as follows: National Center for Cancer Care and Research’s (NCCCR) Neuro-Physiotherapy Section (7:00am to 3:00pm); Male Out-Patient (MOP) Orthopedic physiotherapy (7:00am to11:00pm); and Female Out-Patient (FOP) Physiotherapy (7:00am to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 12 midnight).
The NCCCR OPD Clinics will open from 8:00am to 1:00pm. The OPD Pharmacy will operate from 7:00am to 2:00pm daily, and the Day Care Unit will openfrom 7:00am to 3:00pm every day except on Fridays.
The Referral and Booking Management System (RBMS) will operate from 6:00am to 10:00pm, Sunday to Thursday. The referrals will be collected from the centers throughout Doha as usual and patients will be called to book their first visit appointments.
The Hamad Patient Contact Center will operate from7:00am to 10:00pm, Sunday to Thursday and from10:00am to 4:00pm, Friday and Saturday. Patients requiring any information can call (+974)44395777 during these times to inquire about their appointments or make changes to their appointments. The contact center will continue to make reminder phone calls for appointments and send mobile text message reminders to patients during Ramadan.
