Jordan’s health expenditure reaches JD1.665bn in 2012

Jordan’s health expenditure saw a 5.3% increase in 2012, rising to more than JD1.665bn from JD1.581bn in 2011, Jordan Times reported. According to the fifth technical report on national health figures for 2012, whose results were announced by the Higher Health Council in cooperation with WHO, health expenditures accounted for 7.58% of the gross domestic product in 2012, compared to 7.72% in 2011.
