Kalmar reach stacker forklift debuts in Bahrain
Zayani Motors (ZM), the exclusive dealer of Mitsubishi, Peugeot, commercial vehicles and equipment’s such as Kalmar and Mitsubishi Fuso in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has handed over the first Kalmar reach stacker forklift – a vehicle used for handling intermodal cargo containers in small terminals or medium-sized ports – to Nasser Abd Mohammed B.S.C (closed) in the presence of the company’s CEO Mr. Mohamed Mansoor Abd Mohamed Al Buhameed along with ZM representatives.
Reach Stackers out beat the normal cranes in safety aspects and are commonly used inside the sea ports for handling containers. However, and due to their flexibility and higher stacking in addition to their storage capacity when compared to other forklifts, this kind of forklifts has been sold for the first time to a construction company outside of the sea port in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
