Medical Village, a leading medical center in the UAE, a pioneer in medical technological advancements, in fields such as laser surgery, is set to showcase its cutting-edge PicoSure laser at the upcoming 15th Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition.

Taking place from April 7 to 9, 2015 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, the latest edition of the pioneering dermatological event in the Middle East and North Africa region will provide a platform for Medical Village to demonstrate how PicoSure, the first and only PicoSecond technology in Middle East and North Africa, can remove tattoos more effectively and can be successfully applied for various non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including acne scars and pigmentation reduction.

Following a trend of being at the forefront of providing the latest in laser technology advancements in the UAE, the medical center sets itself apart as the only clinic in the Middle East and North Africa region that offers the PicoSure laser technology. The clinic has used laser therapy in many of its services such as certain surgical procedures since its opening in 2004.

Dr. Hamid Taghaddos, Founder of Medical Village, said: “Medical Village has always endeavored to offer long-lasting solutions to its diverse clients. We’re excited to announce the launch of the new PicoSure laser, because we believe it will have a remarkable difference in terms of the results that they see by incorporating the laser in their treatments. In tattoo removal, for instance, PicoSure requires fewer treatments compared with other traditional laser technologies. The treatment has yielded better clearance of the tattoo with a shorter recovery time and less chance of scarring.”

“At Dubai Derma 2015, we will discuss PicoSure’s many significant benefits and how it differs from other technologies in the regional market. We also look forward to meeting other professionals in the field and learning from one another.” added Dr. Taghaddos.

Medical Village will join over 200 companies that are expected to participate in this year’s conference and exhibition. To be held under the theme, ‘Skin Health is our Concern,’ Dubai Derma 2015 will also showcase the best practices in dermatological science and the latest technology in skin care through specialized exhibition, lectures, courses and workshops.
