Ministry of Works achieves 76.5% completion in Halat Bu Maher Health Centre Project
MoW’s Construction Projects & Maintenance Assistant Undersecretary Eng. Mona Jassim Al Motawa visited Halat Bu Maher Health Centre Project in Muharraq, accompanied by Chief of Building Construction Supervision Section Eng. Shehab Badir, Chief of Building Design Section Eng. Wadea Marzooq, the supervision team and a representative from Arados Company.
Al Motawa revealed that 74% progress has been achieved in the mechanical works involved in the project, while 85% progress has been achieved in the electrical works. Power was connected to the center in 26 December 2013. The overall completion in the project reached 76.5%, and work is expected to complete in May 2014, to be later operated by the Ministry of Health.
The BD4,594,521 contracting works involved in the project were awarded to Arados Contracting & Maintenance. The 3 storey building covers a total area of 27,07 m2, and also contains a cellar, a parking lot of 13,674 m2 , a ground floor with rooms for regular check-up and others for quick check-up. The ground floor also contains treatment and day-case services, in addition to a pharmacy, X-Ray, Diabetes Clinic and medical records.
