Pakistan receives over 10m polio vaccines

Saudi Arabia has donated more than 10 million doses of polio vaccine to Pakistan to help the country contain the crippling disease, Arab News has reported. This follows a pledge by the kingdom to donate vaccine to Pakistan during the World Health Assembly meeting held in May. The Saudi embassy handed over 10,035,000 doses of polio vaccine to authorities of Expanded Program on Immunisation (EPI) on Tuesday.
