Park Hyatt Saadiyat hosts government communication chiefs

Park Hyatt Saadiyat Hotel has hosted the first periodic meeting of communications directors from 35 UAE ministries, organized by the National Media Council (NMC) with the aim of boosting contacts with their departments.

NMC director general Mr Ibrahim Al Abed, said, “The council is keen to expand communications with all departments which deal with the Emirates News Agency (WAM) to explore best ways to serve clients and achieve the council’s objectives in highlighting the UAE’s accomplishments. He also thanked the Hotel’s management for hosting this important meeting.”

The meeting was attended by representatives from the ministries of presidential affairs, foreign affairs, interior, health, social affairs, public works, finance, energy, justice, education, cabinet affairs, culture, youth and community development, higher education and scientific research, economy, environment and water, as well as the central bank, the telecommunications regulatory authority, Tanmia, human resources agency, Emirates Transport, marriage fund and the civil aviation authority.

“We are pleased to host this meeting and to keep in touch with the establishments in charge of the media in the UAE,” said Ms Hande Ünveren, public relations and communications manager at the Hotel, which includes 306 rooms, suites and villas.
