Psychometric testing a first for Al Ain Education and Career Fair
The sixth edition of the annual Al Ain Education & Career Fair (AECF), which takes place at the Al Ain Convention Centre on 28-30 April, have recently signed a partnership to host free onsite assessments with cut-e, a world leader in the design and implementation of online tests for use in recruitment, selection and development of people in the business world.
The method is said to provide a range of information about an individual’s aptitude, attitude and values or how they are likely to behave when put in a challenging situation. Psychometric assessments are used to help organisations identify the best staff with the right capabilities, competencies and cultural fit to deliver optimal business results for their organisation.
David Barrett, Managing Director of cut-e says they have seen an increase in demand for Psychometric Testing “This is our second year of operation in the Middle East, and in just this short time we have witnessed a significant increase in demand. The economies in the gulf region vary dramatically, from capital resource intensive energy entities to logistics and sales. A common thread in the growth of Psychometric Testing is the increasing need to hire talent from an early stage, and from local populations.”

Visitors will be able to meet with specialised consultants, practice the tests, and receive a personalised report highlighting areas for development and help in evaluating the most suitable career path.
