Saif Zone joins hands with Nabeel Perfumes in blood donation drive
The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone) has joined hands with Nabeel Perfumes Group of Companies, one of the largest perfumes and incense manufactures in the Middle East; in a blood donation campaign.
More than 50 donors representing members of companies operating within SAIF Zone took part in the 6- hour blood donation drive, which was held outside Nabeel’s headquarters in the Free Zone. The campaign was inaugurated by Mr. Mustafa Adam Ali Managing Director of Nabeel Perfumes Group of companies, in the presence of senior officials of SAIF Zone Administration.
Commenting on the blood donation drive, Talal Abdul Azizi Al Midfa, Director of the Department of Human Resources and Administrative Affairs at SAIF ZONE, underlined the importance of involving the private sector in community service, calling for promoting the culture of social corporate responsibility in all UAE’s government and private institutions in order to create a positive interactive atmosphere between the community and the business and service sectors,
Mustafa Adam Ali, Managing Director of Nabeel Perfumes, said “We, as part of a society, believe in giving back in some way or the other, we have a strong built-in CSR culture within our organisation that differentiates us from most others.”
The group has set up a special taskforce of dedicated staff under their newly formed CSR wing, N.E.S.T – ‘NABEEL EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL SERVICE TASKFORCE’ and this Drive was one of their earliest initiatives. The latest blood donation camp is part of its annual CSR activities schedule that includes at least two such events taking place in Dubai and Sharjah.
The move comes two weeks after Nabeel Perfumes won the Sharjah Economic Excellence Award -Silver under Large Companies Category. The win is a fitting recognition to the company’s long heritage of quality products and services that had created a loyal customer base across the World. The recognition also comes at a very crucial time when the company re-energised its management to double its retail footprint across the UAE and GCC to accelerate its already growing market share.
