US-based provider of kidney care services, DaVita, a division of US-based DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc., has said it has won a tender from the Saudi health ministry to treat half of the around 10,000 dialysis patients currently under the ministry’s care. Under the terms of the deal, DaVita is to operate 80 centres and will help the ministry in identifying ways to prevent kidney disease within the kingdom, the firm said.
