The Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) was informed about 555 cases of medical errors last year, while around 825 patients had adverse reactions to drugs prescribed by physicians in the emirate, Khaleej Times has reported. The authority’s 2010 statistics have shown that patients usually affected are those between 18 and 60 years, followed by children aged two to 12 years. Port Said Governor General Ahmed Abdallah Mohamed has announced that Egypt’s biggest sugar refinery plant from sugar beet will be built in the governorate, Ahram has reported.
