Bahrain Works Ministry opens new exit from Juffair to Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Causeway

MoW’s Roads Projects & Maintenance Director Eng. Raed Al Salah revealed that the Ministry has opened a new exit from Juffair to Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Causeway; linking it to traffic heading from Hidd to Manama.

The new exit aims to alleviate traffic congestion in the area and create an easy exit from Juffair area.

“The project comprises of creating an access point from Road 2427 and expanding the acceleration passageway along Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Causeway at a length of 180m, in addition to protecting the ground services channels, lighting works, signage, implementing safety barriers and other related works,” said Al Salah.

The BD26,000 project was implemented through time contracts awarded to Al Zinj transportation, who implemented civil works, while United Gulf Asphalt & Construction implemented paving and asphalting works.
