The well-known Omani commercial services group, Al Naba Holding LLC, is relocating to more modern, spacious and custom-designed premises – a move that underscores its impressive transformation from a modest contracting firm into one of Oman’s largest integrated services providers.
The transfer takes the Group’s headquarters from its current location on 18th November Street in Al Khuwair to Ghala Heights, billed as one of the most sought-after addresses in the fast-growing western suburbs of the capital city.
The new building is an elegantly constructed, mixed use commercial and residential property that overlooks the Muscat Expressway on the edges of Ghala Industrial Area. Soaring nine floors high, the structure is a landmark in this rapidly urbanizing corner of Ghala.
‘Al Naba House’ has been designed, built and fitted out by Al Naba Infrastructure – a testament to the diverse capabilities of a corporate brand whose business interests span not only construction and Property Maintenance, but also Integrated Facilities Management, Catering and trading of Commercial Kitchen and Laundry Equipments.
Spread across an over 22000 sq. meters, the ground plus first three levels have been earmarked for commercial offices and outlets, the sprawling penthouse will accommodate the offices of the Group’s Board of Directors. Al Nab’a hosts its offices on the second and third floor while the ground and first floor is open to tenancy. The executive staff and their families will be housed in residential apartments that make up the five floors in-between.
“Bringing all of the business divisions of Al Naba and their management staff under one roof is all about driving synergies across the Group. Of course, our relocation to more spacious premises has been necessitated by our own rapid growth, our diversifying business portfolio, and expanding geographical footprint,” commented Mr. Suleiman Salim Abudullah Al Shekaili – AGM – HR & Administration.
For Al Naba’s large complement of management staff, the relocation comes with an array of exciting perks. Residential staff can dine in relaxing settings in a specially designed executive dining area on the 8th floor. Recreational facilities, indoor games and a full-fledged gym will act as stress buster after a busy day of work. For busy operations and marketing professionals, as well as visitors and guests, a well-supplied pantry will offer a delightful spread of snacks and beverages on the go. Tastefully designed interiors, modern office settings teamed with latest technology also make for stimulating workplace conditions.
Significant benefits also accrue from the company’s decision to house its executive staff in the same building – a move that will not only reduce lost man-hours but also enable seamless coordination between departments, as well as promote healthy cross-functional ties across member companies of the Group, added Mr. Suleiman Al Shekaili.
The shift to new headquarters represents another milestone for a company that continues to grow by leaps and bounds. Just recently, the Group announced the addition of an Integrated Facilities Management Services (IFMS) division to its portfolio of commercial services.
A full-fledged division has now been established under the umbrella of Al Naba Services to offer a customized facilities management solution to a wide array of customers, including industrial, infrastructural, commercial, retail, residential, healthcare and hospitality.
