Omani capital to set up separate zone for expatriate bachelors

The municipality of Oman’s capital, Muscat, has said it has planned residential complexes for expatriate bachelors in Mabela, Bausher and Amerat, Times of Oman has reported. “The Muscat Municipality is currently working on a plan for the expatriate bachelors’ township following which they will call for a tender,” said head of the Public Affairs Committee at the Municipal Council of Muscat, Malik bin Hilal Al Yahmdi. The housing ministry has allocated three plots measuring 10,000 sq m to build the residential buildings for expatriate bachelors.
