Oman’s $25m national museum to open in Q4 2014

Acciona Producciones y Diseño, the Spanish firm that has been selected by Oman to execute the design of the sultanate’s national museum, has announced the museum will be opened by the fourth quarter of 2014, Times of Oman has reported. “The museum will have 12 galleries exhibiting important themes in the Oman’s history. It will also have a gallery for temporary exhibitions, a visitable warehouse, a storage room and a classroom for teaching children,” the company said.
