Integrated Technology Group (ITG) – a global IT solution provider and leading expert in Education/Government Technology – announced that it has carried out a successful Government Resource Planning (GRP) implementation for the Jordanian Ministry of Transport (MOT), in order to reduce complexity, standardize business processes and systems, make better use of data and engage easily with their important daily operations, by experiencing ITG’s Government Resource Planning Solution WaveGRP.
WaveGRP have migrated the ministry’s finance, human resources, payroll, fixed assets, personnel, document management and archiving, inventory, procurement, vehicle management, communications, workflow and other processes onto a single GRP system. Bringing these modules onto a common platform will streamline these business processes, provide a single view of the business, increase public administration efficiency and performance, decrease operational costs and better service quality to citizens. WaveGRP also helped in improving accountability across government organizations and provides the ability for macro-level decision making based on consolidated real data and reports.
On this occasion, Osama Karadsheh, IT Manager at the Ministry of Transport, said: “Our belief in the permanent importance of continuous development and providing what is best to serve our institutes and members, made us decide on updating our integrated system based on the latest technology.”
He added: “WaveGRP has it all, it has effectively save time and effort in completing our daily practices comparing with the old activated system, it has also provided an accurate and concise information to support the decision-making mechanism with a simple workflow between the departments, which eventually has increased our staff performance and boosted their work efficiency. WaveGRP is an efficacious solution; it made it possible to reach more than 25 thousand successful transactions in 2013.”
He ended: “We are happy to work with a Jordanian company, a pioneer in this field, and we hope our aspiration will be achieved with excellent results and goals.”
