Orange Business Services, the Orange branch dedicated to B2B services, has announced the appointment of Mr Mickael Ghossein as Senior Vice President Middle East.
Mr Ghossein joined the Orange Group in 1987 and has held several senior positions with the group in France, Romania, Reunion and Jordan. Most recently, he was CEO of Telkom Kenya, which is majority-owned by the Orange Group.
Mr Ghossein will formally take up his new position on 1st November 2014, based at the Orange Business Services Middle East headquarters in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and takes over the leadership of the business from Mr Jean-Luc Lasnier who is retiring.
An engineer by training, Mr. Ghossein holds a Masters degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics and Automation from the University of Lyon, France; an Engineering Diploma from l’Institut Supérieur Electronique de Nord.
He was also recognised as one of the top ten Telecoms leaders in Africa in 2011, by the ITN News Africa Service, based on executive achievements and company business performance.
