Serial entrepreneur par excellence and social activist Sir Richard Branson, will address the who’s who of the UAE’s CEO’s and top executives in Du’s CEO Forum 2014, the fifth held under Du Leadership Series.
The CEO Forum 2014 is an invitation-only business event, and will be held on 24 March in Dubai. Through innovative, inspirational events such as the CEO Forum, Du brings UAE’s CEOs and top executives together with some of the world’s most motivational and successful personalities. Previous forums have hosted Malcolm Gladwell, Chris Anderson, Robin Sharma, Pranav Mistry, and Professor Clayton Christensen.
This year’s theme is titled ‘Innovation Odyssey’. Broadly speaking, the key planks will be innovation – focusing on leadership and entrepreneurship, people and giving back to the community and will draw from Sir Branson’s experiences in business and life.

Entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson started his first business venture at the age of 16 with a magazine called The Student, and since then, he hasn’t looked back. He launched Virgin Records in 1973. Virgin Group now holds more than 200 companies in more than 30 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, Asia, Europe and South Africa. Over the years, Sir Richard Branson expanded his businesses to include a train company, a luxury game preserve, a mobile phone company and a space-tourism company, Virgin Galactic. According to the Forbes 2012 list of billionaires, Branson is the sixth richest citizen of the United Kingdom with an estimated net worth of $4.6bn. He was knighted in 1999 for his contribution to entrepreneurship.
