Etisalat welcomes future leaders to ‘Qadat Al Mostaqbal’ programme
Etisalat, the UAE’s leading telecom provider, has officially launched of its management training programme, “Qadat Al Mostaqbal”, which means “Leaders of the Future” in English.
The conference saw a total of 75 candidates being enrolled on the programme, which aims to provide Etisalat with a pool of highly motivated and qualified local and expatriate employees who will eventually take up management positions within the company. The event drew the participation of senior management from Etisalat.
Younis Abdulaziz Al Nimr, Chief Human Resources Officer, Etisalat UAE, highlighted the importance of leadership in both career and personal life, and Etisalat’s commitment to enhancing the leadership skills of its employees.
He said: “The Qadat Al Mostaqbal programme aims to develop a channel of responsible, thoughtful leaders who will create greater value for their team and organisation and become ready to ride the wave of ‘change’ at Etisalat.”

Qadat Al Mostaqbal is a structured two-year programme providing a unique learning experience through interaction with world class speakers and mentors from top business schools as well as providing insights into international business practices. The programme includes assessments, coaching, workshops and teambuilding exercises revolving around the core leadership competencies in Etisalat.
Training is carried out by leading training providers Insead, The Ken Blanchard Companies and Door’s Consultancy and 25 students are allocated to each of the three companies for the duration of the programme. By incorporating the latest technological and digital developments, the scheme helps participants gain an understanding of the developments in the global telecommunications sector.
