Virgin Mobile sets sights on creating opportunity for talented Saudi Arabian youth
Virgin Mobile, fresh from the announcement from the CITC Board of Directors that it has been approved the grant of an MVNO licence, is delighted to announce that its recruitment campaign in Saudi Arabia has already attracted over 35,000 applicants for positions in the business.
Consistent with its vision that Saudi Arabia’s next generation mobile service can only be built by this generation of talented Saudi youth, Virgin Mobile launched an online recruitment programme to seek out genuine Virgin Mobile people from across the Kingdom. This was backed up with a social media campaign and content published across Facebook and Twitter where potential employees could find out more information about positions, apply and learn more about the Virgin Mobile brand.

The Virgin Mobile brand, which initially launched in the United Kingdom, already operates in ten countries globally, including Australia, Chile, Colombia, Canada, France, India, Poland, South Africa, UK and the USA, and continues to expand, already serving nearly 20 million mobile customers.

Virgin Mobile is currently reviewing all job applications and have embarked on a series of assessment centres in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam that will see potential candidates run through an interactive screening process.
