Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) organized a training program for its employees on etiquette in the work environment.
The program, produced by Mohamed Hassan Al Marzouqi, the General Manager of Etiquette Training company for consultations, training and management studies, was supervised by ATDD’s Training Section.
The program, held at Ajman Museum’s Sheikh Humaid Hall, qualifies trainees to have the potentials for the art of universal dealings, according to Al Marzouqi.
It has a set of targets including getting the trainees posted on the UAE vision 2021 and the internationally-recognized knowledge and skills regarding dealing with VIPs and official guests in local and international occasions and events, he said.
Developing the etiquette skills in the work environment, learning to enjoy work under any circumstances, social etiquette in daily contacts, principles of Arab culture, and ways to organize meetings and hold negotiations, official gatherings, ceremonies are also among the targets of this program, Al Marzouqi added.
For her part, ATDD Training Section Head Jawaher Al Matroushi said the training program dwelt on the UAE Vision 2021, the role of a public servant in contributing to the achievement of such a vision, in addition to a number of concepts in connection with etiquette and protocol.
The first impression, image, work relations, women and men’s wear, meeting organization, timings, presentations and listening skills were all high on the agenda of the training program, Al Matroushi added, lauding the methods adopted by the trainer, especially brain storming, collective analysis for problems and solutions.
