Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) sponsored, for its employees, two workshops on fire combat and first aid requirements, in cooperation with the emirate’s General Directorate of Civil Defence.
Such a kind workshops comes within the framework of guaranteeing the support of training and human resources’ development plans, Jawaher Al Matroushi, the Head of ATDD’s Training Section, said, noting that a cooperation would be maintained with the civil defence authority in Ajman to make sure that ATDD was fulfilling maximum safety requirements at its headquarters.
“How to Combat Fires” was the theme of the first workshop presented by Mohamed Hassan Al Zureif who went through a number of topics, including ways to avert fire accidents in houses and workplaces and types of fire extinguishers and how to use them. Al Zureif also led practical exercises on evictions, explaining the mistakes done when a fire erupts and how to avoid them.
Paramedic Hussein Al Hammadi, also from the civil defence, presented the second workshop on First Aid, reviewing all the basics and priorities of the various first aid operations.
