Egypt plans tourist visa hike from May 1

Egyptian tourism minister, Hesham Zazou has announced a $5 increase in fees for tourists entering the country starting May to $20, Ahram has reported. The decision to increase was previously postponed several times. The decision was initially meant to be implemented in November 2013. It was then postponed to February 2014 and finally to May 1.
