In realizing its continuing value offer to the food and hospitality industries, organizer Omanexpo, through its ninth Food & Hospitality Oman exhibition, has boosted efforts to provide a platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to gain convenient access to business opportunities, help forge new business partnerships, expand their markets, and represent brands of international repute.
Ammar Ahmad, exhibition manager for Food & Hospitality Oman, says “We are now more focused on setting up a ready stage for SMEs to acquire more knowledge and expertise from these international companies apart from having the ease and convenience of meeting prospective partners.”
“For the international companies and brands, this platform will enable them to directly connect with potential buyers and partners in the local market as well as tap unlimited business opportunities in the Oman market.”
Food & Hospitality Exhibition Oman, now on its ninth edition, will be a bigger edition than last year’s, with the participation of the country pavilions of Italy, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey and Iran, more than 200 local and global brands, and new companies joining the exhibition roster.
In keeping with the event tradition, and driven by the enthusiastic response from both the trade and general public sectors, Food & Hospitality Oman will be treating its audience to entertaining and educational features such as its signature Professional Chefs Competition, Oman Barista Competition and Best Chef Oman, all aimed at advancing the food and hospitality sectors, while promoting the best of local talent and cuisine.
The event, recognized as the landmark trade event for the sector, is set from September 9 to 11 at the Oman International Exhibition Center. Exhibition hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
It is supported by the National Hospitality Institute and Oman Chefs Guild and sponsored by Shura Trading & Hotel Supplies, UNIC, Zainal Baqer Mohaibi and Arabian Business & Technical Services Co.
