Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha took a step forward bubbled with enthusiasm as it observed the ‘Celebrate Service Week’ from 5-12 June, 2014 to recognise the hard work put in by colleagues.
The “Celebrate Service Week” is a worldwide initiative propounded by the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) to cheer up employees who served our valued guests tirelessly all around the year to keep them contented and happy.
The week was all about our team who work hard day in, day out to help us accomplish our Ambition to be #1 for guests, owners and colleagues.
“As the name goes, “Celebrate Service” is primarily to recognise and appreciate the hard work, team spirit and the exemplary service of our team members that make Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha the most sought-after name in the hospitality industry. It gives an opportunity for all members of this organisation to interact as one family and build lasting relationships” said Mr. Zamir Abbasi, Director of Human Resources & Training.
As in previous years, elaborately planned events, filled with loads of fun and exhilaration, were lined up. “Attractions included interesting photo sessions, lunch and breakfast served by the management, Desert Safari, Dhow Cruise, visit to the Dubai Aquarium, Indoor Sports festival, Karaoke Night, Movie Nights and a Grand Staff Get-Together,” added Mr. Zamir.
The programme launched with ribbon cutting, welcome refreshments by the Management Team and photographs with the Mena Award followed by lunch served by the Management at The Royal Budha.
The hotel team posed for photographs by forming a human 5th Star symbol and relished the taste of sweetness at the Chocolate Fountain.
The pleasant and inspiring ‘Celebrate Service Week’ culminated with a Grand Staff Get-Together.
