Red Sea resorts report 70% occupancy after European countries lift travel bans

Egyptian tourism minister, Hisham Zaazou has said the country’s tourism sector was on its way to recovery now that Denmark, Italy and Germany had lifted their travel warnings on Egypt, Ahram has reported. Hotel occupancy rates had climbed to 70% on the Red Sea coast and exceeded 55% in South Sinai as a result, Zaazou said.
