The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh has announced the appointment of Chef Theodor Rudiferia as its new Executive Chef. Chef Theodor brings with him almost 30 years of experience in the international hospitality industry, including the opening of six five-star hotel properties in Asia.
Chef Theodor joins The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh following his recent role as Cluster Executive Chef for two five-star properties in New Delhi, India. Specializing in Italian cuisine and Mediterranean cuisines, he also has expertise in Asian cuisines. In addition to his expertise in training and developing staff for several newly opened properties in the subcontinent, Chef Theodor also has thorough knowledge of the various traditions and cuisines of the Middle East. His exposure to Middle Eastern cuisine is rooted in his international experience working in predominantly Muslim Asian countries, which included over eight years of catering for Ramadan and Eid celebrations.

Chef Theodor Rudiferia has a degree in hospitality and cuisine from the renowned Hotelier institute in Merano, Italy, and has worked with international brands such as Hilton World Wide, Starwood, and Intercontinental. Gaining tremendous international training exposure at the Hilton Hotels, Chef Theodor is a seasoned Executive Chef with more than seventeen years of experience in this current role.
