Voted by travel and tourism professionals worldwide, World Travel Awards has announced The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort as Abu Dhabi’s Leading Beach Resort.
Winning the prestigious award for three years running, discerning travellers continue to prefer the renowned beachfront address.
“It’s a pleasure to be recognised by the World Travel Awards for the unrivalled setting and bespoke service that we provide our loyal clientele at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort,” said Stewart Selbie, General Manager at the hotel.
“Our resort is a true beachfront leisure address, and winning the award for Abu Dhabi’s Leading Beach Resort is testament to our offering,” Selbie added.
Summer on Saadiyat Island
In line with winning the World Travel Award, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort has a wide range of summer activities both beachside and within the hotel.
Now parents can again be at ease keeping their children gainfully entertained through the long summer holidays with the second annual Summer Camp 2014 at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
From June 29 to July 24, and again from August 17 to 28, the capital’s popular beachfront holiday destination will once again hold a summer camp for young aficionados. Catering to ages 4 to 12 years, the thoughtfully designed program will combine fun with education and feature an array of activities ranging from art and crafts, cooking and baking, indoor and outdoor exercises and competitive games, amongst other activities.
The summer camp will cost Dhs250 per day per child, or Dhs950 per week. Each week, one optional off-site excursion will be organized for an additional Dhs100 per child. The camp will last from 9.00 am until 3:30 pm, Sunday to Thursday.
To ensure that children are involved in age-appropriate activities, there will be two groups – the juniors for ages 4 to 7 and the seniors for ages 7 to 12 years. Children will be attended to by the trained staff at Sandcastle Club, with inclusion of a well-balanced breakfast, lunch and a healthy afternoon snack. On enrollment for a week, participating children will receive two T-shirts and a cap. For in-house guests, the lunch will be Dhs50 and the Summer Camp will be complimentary.
The St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort also has a food and beverage summer offer to cool things down. Visit any restaurant during the summer and upon paying, guests will receive a voucher that entitles them to a complimentary dinner when three others dine, which they are free to use in any venue for their next visit before the end of the summer.
