KSA’s new Jeddah airport to open mid next year

Saudi Arabia’s new King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah is set to open in the middle of 2015, Arab News has reported. “The new airport will have a capacity of 30 million passengers in the first phase, 45 million in the second phase, and up to 80 million in the final phase,” said the airport’s director, Abdul Hamid Abul Ora. The airport management is currently focusing on completing the first phase on schedule, he said.
