Qatar Airways wants compensation for delayed A380 delivery

Akbar al-Baker, chief executive of Qatar Airways has said the Doha-based carrier will seek compensation from Airbus for delays in the delivery of three of the European planemaker’s A380 superjumbos, Reuters has reported. Airbus said it was working to fix difficulties with the A380 planes after Qatar Airways, which should have taken delivery of its first A380 in May, rejected the first three aircraft.
