Saudia names new chief executive

Prince Fahd bin Abdullah chairman of Saudi Arabian Airline’s board of directors, and president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), has announced the appointment of Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser as the carrier’s new director-general, Arab News has reported. Al-Jasser replaces Khaled Al-Molhem, who served the organisation for eight years and presided over its privatisation programme. Al-Jasser will take charge as the new Saudia chief on August 3, the airline said.
