Ali Alghanim and Sons Automotive presents 2nd BMW Golf Cup International – Kuwait 2014
This March, golfers in Kuwait will be given the chance to participate in the 2014 BMW Golf Cup International, organised by Ali Alghanim & Sons Automotive, the BMW Group importer in Kuwait. Representing the Kuwait national round of the renowned international tournament, the event will take place at the Sahara Golf Club on 21st March 2014.
Ruled by Kuwait Golf Committee, players will participate in the 18-hole Individual Stableford Event, with golfers falling into three categories: Mens Category A (Handicap 0-12) and Mens Category B (Handicap betwen 13-28) and Ladies Category with handicaps up to 28.
Significantly, for the first time, a BMW Youth Cup has also been organised and sponsored by ali Alghanim & Sons Automotive, which would be staged on 21st March 2014, during the main event.
The 18-hole championship course is set to pose a real challenge for the players, providing an exciting day of golf. The first, second and third place winners from each category will take home an exclusive Trophy and BMW Golfsport Gifts. Prizes will also be given out for the Longest Drive, Nearest-to-the-pin and Hole-in-one. In addition, the three overall winners will be flown to the BMW Golf Cup International World Finals in 2015, where they will tee off against more than 100 other golfers representing 47 countries All travel and accomodation expenses of the winners that qualify for the BMW Golf Cup International World Finals in 2015 will be covered by Ali Alghanim & Sons Automotive,
During the tournament, Ali Alghanim & Sons Automotive will display a range of BMW models, along with BMW Lifestyle items, at the Sahara Golf Club. It is expected that such display will generate a lot of interest among the participating Kuwaiti golf enthusiasts.
