GMC 2015 Sierra HDs hit Middle East showrooms
Designed to deliver class-leading capability with enhanced comfort and smarter technologies, the new 2015 GMC Sierra HD lineup advances a 111-year legacy of professional heavy-duty trucks.
Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD models – including Sierra Denali HD – take proven powertrains and the new standard in quiet, comfortable pickup interiors, pickup-first technologies and cargo box innovations to produce a premium-duty breed of pickup that command respect.
Trim levels include a Sierra base model, as well as SLE, SLT and Denali. The distinctive Sierra Denali HD is offered exclusively as a crew cab, matching do-it-all capability with an exclusive package of design and upscale interior amenities.
The Sierra HDs’ new styling and an all-new, more comfortable and technology-infused interior are carried forward from the all-new 2014 Sierra Light Duty pickups, including new double cab and revised crew cab body styles. Larger rear doors on each, along with new seat designs, enable easier entry and exit from the rear seat and two inches of additional legroom on crew cabs.
The new interior is also designed to help drivers and passengers, whether they’re on the job or on a weekend getaway, with easier-to-reach, more intuitively located controls, more storage compartments, more plug-ins for electronic devices and next-generation GMC IntelliLink – with an eight-inch-diagonal color touch screen.
Regular, double cab and crew cab models are offered across the lineup. 2500HD and 3500HD regular cab models are matched with an 8′ box, while 2500HD double cab and crew cab models are available with 6’6″ or 8′ boxes. Sierra 3500HD double cab is offered exclusively with the 8′ box, while 3500HD crew cabs are available with the 6’6″ and 8′ boxes. Dual-rear-wheel configurations are also available on 3500HD.
The powertrains contribute to the new Sierra HDs’ greater payload and towing ratings than previous models, including the segment’s highest payload – 3,345 kilograms – and the highest conventional trailering rating – 8,890 kilograms. The maximum fifth-wheel/gooseneck trailering rating increases to 10,523 kilograms.
The new 2015 GMC Sierra HD lineup is available in showrooms across the Middle East in June.
