Hyundai posts first quarterly sales decline since 2011

Hyundai Motor has announced its first year-on-year drop in quarterly revenue in nearly three years, despite a rise in net profits, Reuters has reported. The South Korean carmaker posted a 3% fall in revenue to ?21.94trn in the October to December period, although net income jumped 15% during the same period to ?2.06trn. The company’s global shipments rose 0.4% to 1.23 million vehicles in the fourth quarter.
