Oman bans flights by Rotana Jet to Muscat, Salalah

June 26, 2014 12:17 am

Abu Dhabi-headquartered Rotana Jet has been banned by Oman’s Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA) from flying to Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport, Times of Oman has reported. The airline violated some operational regulations even though the PACA tried to sort out the company’s problem, the regulator said on its twitter account. The authority did not explain the main reason behind the decision to stop the flight operation. The UAE carrier used to operate flights to Muscat and Salalah to Abu Dhabi on a 50-seat Embraer aircraft.
