Oman to start Duqm, Sohar operations by third quarter
Omani transport minister, Dr Ahmed Al Futaisi has said early operations of Sohar and Duqm regional airports will start with Oman Air flying between Muscat and these two destinations towards the end of this year, Times of Oman has reported. “We will start early operation at the Duqm airport, using the runway (which is ready now) and a temporary terminal building facility,” said the minister. “We are trying to start operations in the third or fourth quarter of this year. We will not wait for the new terminal building to complete,” said Al Futaisi.
