Strong sales mark Cadillac ATS one-year anniversary
Since it was first launched across the Middle East in 2013, the Cadillac ATS has carved out an unmatched reputation for itself – emerging as one of the region’s leading premium car. In fact, after a mere twelve months in the market, the pioneering model continues to pull in positive sales numbers – garnering strong interest especially amongst young drivers seeking specific vehicle features such as performance prowess, a cutting-edge design and state-of-the art technology advancements.
The truth is, in the past year, Cadillac’s sales growth in the Middle East was strongly driven by the 2014 ATS – which accounted for 22% of the brand’s total sales.

With one of the lowest curb weights in the segment – nearly 1,497 kg – the ATS’s driving dynamics are rooted in mass efficiency, which helps make it Cadillac’s lightest sedan. Germany’s famed Nürburgring served as one of the key testing grounds, along with additional roads, race tracks and laboratories around the globe, where ATS engineers balanced performance with Cadillac’s trademark refinement.
A driver-focused interior with integrated technology and crafted materials complements the exterior elements and supports the ATS’s driving experience. Everything from the placement of the pedals to the position of the shifter is designed for effortless and intuitive performance driving.
And, the revolutionary specs don’t stop there. The ATS is offered with Cadillac CUE – a comprehensive, in-vehicle experience that merges intuitive design with auto industry-first controls and commands for information and entertainment data. It is designed to be unique for each consumer, from the “simple user” to the fully connected “super user.”
The model’s engine lineup includes a standard 2.5L four-cylinder, or 3.6L V-6. The four-cylinder engines were designed and developed specifically for the ATS. The 2.5L is rated at 202 horsepower and 259 Nm of torque, and the award-winning 3.6L V-6 is rated at 321 horsepower and 373 Nm of torque.
