Two days left for Mitsubishi’s Muscat Festival Instagram contest
General Automotive Company, the exclusive distributors of Mitsubishi vehicles in Oman, recently participated in the month-long Muscat Festival which ended on February 22. Over the course of the festival, GAC had set up a spectacular display of Mitsubishi’s most popular vehicles – the Lancer EX, ASX, Pajero, the all new Outlander and L200. GAC also held a special Instagram competition in celebration of the festivities, giving participants the chance to win one of two 32 LED TVs. Although the festivities have now drawn to a close, the Instagram contest will continue to accept entries for another two days, until the contest ends on February 27 and the winners are announced.
During the Muscat Festival GAC showcased numerous Mitsubishi and FUSO vehicles at each of the two venues. Taking centre stage at the Naseem Gardens was the all new 2014 Outlander accompanied by the L200, Lancer EX, Pajero and FUSO trucks and buses. at the Al Amerat Park venue, GAC displayed the Pajero, the new Outlander, ASX and Lancer EX. Also running alongside the Muscat Festival, GAC ran a special promotion where every car sold during the festival period was provided with free registration, free service for 2 years/30,000kms (whichever comes first), 6 years roadside assistance, 6 years/unlimited kilometer warranty, free insurance and up to OMR 1,000 as a guaranteed cash gift.
Commenting on the success of the Muscat Festival campaign, Mark Tomlinson, General Manager of General Automotive Company, said, “The Muscat Festival was the perfect opportunity for us to showcase our latest models – in particular the all-new Outlander. We have received excellent feedback from festival visitors, who have praised the new Outlander for its good looks, versatility and space. Its seven-seat arrangement together with the festival offer was particularly well received and was a draw-card for customers during the festival period.”
As part of the special Mitsubishi Instagram competition, held to celebration of the Muscat Festival, participants are required to post creative or artistic images of themselves with a Mitsubishi vehicle. When the competition comes to a close on February 27, the top two submissions with the most number of likes will be rewarded with a 32 LED TV each. The winners will be announced on the Mitsubishi Oman facebook page and twitter feed shortly thereafter.

The Outlander, Lancer EX, Pajero, ASX and L200 are available in Mitsubishi showrooms across the Sultanate and General Automotive Company invites customers to visit their local showroom and book a test drive.
