Volkswagen Middle East launches careers portal with access to the latest jobs across its growing regional network
Volkswagen Middle East announced the launch of a careers portal, which aims to attract talent region-wide to join the Volkswagen network. The portal provides interested candidates with the most up-to-date positions in finance, human resource, marketing, sales and after sales service at its offices and dealerships across the region.
The new careers portal, which can be found on the home page of Volkswagen Middle East, www.volkswagen-me.com, is a starting point for those seeking career challenges and valuable practical experience with one of the most innovative German automobile companies. Through the Regional Volkswagen Academy for Sales and Service, successful candidates can access internationally recognised qualifications and certificates in sales and after sales services in accordance with the company’s exemplary German standards.
Customer service is at the heart of Volkswagen’s strategy to develop its business in the Middle East and the company has invested heavily in training and resources to ensure that the quality of its sales and aftersales services across the region reflects global standards of service excellence. This commitment has successfully led to strong performances in sales volumes for Volkswagen Middle East since it first entered the region.
With new state-of-the-art service facilities and showrooms opening throughout the region in 2014 and beyond, the German auto manufacturer will leverage the new careers portal to attract, develop and build strong Middle East teams who can grow with the company.
Commenting on the announcement, Thomas Milz, Managing Director of Volkswagen Middle East said: “A 2013 customer satisfaction survey conducted by Volkswagen internationally showed record-high customer satisfaction levels, with the Middle East performing extremely well in both sales and aftersales services. This is a direct outcome of our continued investment in our people, who form the backbone of our infrastructure and capacity to deliver our high standards of service excellence”.
“The Middle East is a very important region for Volkswagen and it is imperative that we attract and develop the right people. The careers portal has been introduced for this purpose. Our training and certification programmes, designed to international standards, will enable Volkswagen Middle East to grow our human capital as we expand across the region”, added Milz.
As at 2013 end, the German auto manufacturer had 15 showrooms and 13 workshops and service centres region wide. In 2014, it will expand to 18 showrooms and 17 workshops and service centres.
