Thailand’s largest operator of hotels, Centara Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to open a four-star hotel in Oman, as part of its expansion in the Middle East, Muscat Daily has reported. Centara Muscat Hotel will be operated under a management contract with Irfan International Hotel Co, and is scheduled to open on June 1, 2015. Last February, Centara announced it would open a hotel in Qatar. “This four-star hotel will have approximately 154 guest rooms, with two food and beverage outlets, a swimming pool, and a spa and fitness centre. The hotel will also include extensive meeting facilities,” said Chris Bailey, senior vice president for sales and marketing at Centara Hotels and Resorts.
