The Cove Rotana Resort shares its recipe for achieving 9 culinary awards at Emirates Salon Culinaire
The Cove Rotana Resort’s best chefs, pastry chefs and cooks were awarded with 4 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals for their cooking skills at the renowned Emirates Salon Culinaire, proofing once again that the resort is a hotspot amongst the UAEs culinary landscape.
The Emirates Salon Culinaire took place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 23–27 February 2014. It offered chefs an opportunity to benchmark their skills against their colleagues’ while presenting their food art pieces to the public.
During the four day competition the most renowned chefs from all seven Emirates came together in single and team competitions to test their gastronomic, artistic and team work skills. The international jury comprises 20 judges from the World Association of Chefs’ Society.
The professional chefs were judged on their practical cooking skills as well as on their ability to please the gourmets’ eye by arranging and presenting their food artworks to the jury and the public.
