Millennium Resort Mussanah sets new bookings record during Eid Al Fitr
Millennium Resort Mussanah has recorded maximum occupancy during Eid Al Fitr with the 304 well-appointed rooms and apartments in high demand during the extended holiday period, an increase of 23% from the same period last year and up by 80% from 2012.
Visitors particularly enjoyed the Beach Club, which saw an all-time high 1000 guests enjoy the range of relaxing and rejuvenating treatments on offer at Zayna Spa, the Health & Fitness Centre and swimming pools, while restaurants at the resort served over 2300 covers during the occasion.
Maurice De Rooij, General Manager of the Millennium Resort Mussanah, said: “We are delighted that so many guests chose to celebrate Eid Al Fitr with us at Millennium Resort Mussanah and experience the ever-growing variety of relaxing and recreational activities that we offer for the whole family. Feedback during the holidays was overwhelmingly positive with the resort’s newly opened Zayna Spa offering a comprehensive menu of treatments from around the world using completely organic ingredients. With a combination of attractive room rates and packages planned, we anticipate an equally busy Eid Al Adha holiday period in the coming months as guests head to the Al Batinah coastline to share short getaways and longer stays with us.”
Zayna Spa has designed packages to meet the needs of all visitors, ranging from express treatments lasting 30 minutes and full day treatments to weekend spa packages and week-long programs lasting 5 to 7 days. The spa offers traditional and holistic therapies to relieve anxiety, stress and embedded tension, including body massages, hot stone treatments, aromatherapy and reflexology, and also features a ladies only entrance to ensure complete privacy for all guests. Zayna Spa is also the only spa in Oman to provide traditional Omani treatments, including the Amber body glow therapy for ladies and Oud body glow for gentlemen.
The Millennium Resort Mussanah’s summer family getaway package that runs until the end of September offers guests the choice of a Deluxe room with dining options for a significantly discounted rate. Guests can choose from bed and breakfast for the attractive rate of RO53 per night or enjoy dinner in the Mydan restaurant as well for RO70 per night. Both packages include access to onsite leisure facilities including five swimming pools, a ladies only pool, secure children’s play area, 18-hole mini golf course, tennis and volleyball courts. Children under six stay for free and guests can also enjoy promotional rates on treatments at Zayna Spa.
