A. Lange & Söhne appoints new Brand Manager for Middle East

In his new role, Mr. Dupont will be responsible for Lange’s business in the entire Middle Eastern region, as well as Cyprus and India.

French national Matthieu Dupont has a long-lasting business experience in the region. His last position was Area Sales Manager Middle East for a big Swiss watch company.

Mr. Dupont is the successor of Ms. Sukaiyna Gokal, who has been the Middle East Brand Manager for Lange since 2005 and who facilitated excellent brand building in the region during her post. Ms. Gokal will be pursuing new personal interests and challenges outside of the watch industry.

Welcoming Mr. Dupont to the A. Lange & Söhne family, and thanking Ms. Gokal for her uncompromising contributions, CEO Fabian Krone stated, “We are delighted to welcome our new team member on board. A. Lange & Söhne was originally founded in 1845 by Dresden court’s watchmaker Ferdinand Adolph Lange, and boasted a world famous pocket watch manufactory for 100 years. The brand was shut down after the Second World War in 1948 and then re-founded in 1990 by Walter Lange, the founder’s great grandson. Lange has since become one of the world’s most renowned watch brands and is proud of their motto.
