Al Nabhani appointed Oman Air’s Chief Officer Support Services

Oman Air had recently restructured into Strategic Business Units and Support Units with the Support Units playing a major role in the overall support of the Strategic Business Units. Sheikh Nabhani, who is now part of the top management team, will be managing a Support Unit reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Sheikh Nabhani brings with him an ocean of experience and has been serving Oman Air for the past 15 years and has risen up through hard work in the HR department to reach the position that he is in today.

Sheikh Ahmed Himyar Al Nabhani, Chief Officer Support Services, says, “I am very delighted with this announcement and wish to reaffirm my commitment to company on this occasion and to implement the Oman Air’s ambitious plans on Omanisation policies and strategies. His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said’s directives on this are the Company’s guiding light. Oman Air is doing its level best to implement His Majesty’s words that aims to develop the Omani citizens’ potential and broaden their expertise and skills, while creating greater job opportunities for them so that they can earn a living for themselves and their families and contribute to their community’s development.”

Currently the number of Omani staff working in the Company is 2757 out of which 298 Omani cadres were recruited during the first ten months of this year.
