Dell showcases range of end-to-end solutions at GITEX Technology Week

At GITEX Technology Week 2014, Dell will present its latest portfolio of end-to-end solutions designed to help customers integrate, optimize, and automate their IT infrastructure, applications delivery and management.

The solutions will aid customers in the Middle East, to address challenges created by industry mega-trends such as cloud, security, mobility, enterprise modernization, the consumerization of IT, as well as the explosion of big data.

At GITEX, guests can take a closer look at a range of new enterprise technology solutions including:
Networking and Storage Solutions:
-Dell Networking Z9500: an energy-efficient, high density-per-rack unit, and pay-as-you-grow pricing 10/40 GbE data center core switch.
-Dell Networking S6000-ON and S4810-ON top-of-rack switches – creating open networking solutions for customers.
-Dell Storage SC4000 Series arrays: Dell is redefining the economics of enterprise storage with new high-performing and cost-efficient storage arrays for mid-sized deployments.

•Server Solutions:
-The Dell PowerEdge 13th generation server portfolio: designed to address and optimize the evolving spectrum of application and workload requirements; featuring customer-inspired engineering, and built to enhance price performance for the widest range of web, enterprise and hyperscale applications, and highlighting state of the art advancements in storage, processing and memory technology coupled with industry leading systems.

•Dell Software Solutions:
-Connected Security’ provides a complete lifecycle approach to enterprise protection without compromising the performance and cost.

•Dell’s Enterprise appliances and integrated solutions:
-The Dell Acceleration Appliance for Databases: Dell storage and Dell networking with application acceleration technology from Fusion-IO pre-built. The solution is pre-integrated and designed to accelerate leading database environments including MySQL, Sybase, Microsoft SQL and MongoDB.

-Dell will also have a range of its thin clients at GITEX, including the Dell Wyse 5000 series All-in-One thin client, 7000 series quad-display thin client, and Xenith 3 zero client.
