The agreement marks the entry of AirWatch into the region and enables EMW customers to avail of solutions that deliver a comprehensive mobile eco-system that incorporates mobile security, device management, application management, email management and the ability to securely support and manage the Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) trend. The systems integrator expects the hospitality, education, retail and government sectors to drive uptake but sees application of these solutions as being beneficial to any enterprise or SMB organization hoping to support mobility in a secure and scalable framework.

“Regional initiatives such as smart cities, mGovernment services and rapidly advancing enterprise mobility are making smartphones and tablets the de facto devices for service access. We are securely positioned to offer purpose built end-to-end enterprise mobility solutions that combine industry leading technologies with our deep regional expertise and experience,” he added.

AirWatch’s mobility solutions portfolio includes BYOD support, Workspace management, mobile security, Mobile Device Management (MDM), mobile content and application management and mobile email management. These solutions have been designed and optimized to support a host of mobile operating systems such as Android, iOS, Blackberry, Windows Phone and Symbian and can be deployed on premise, off-premise or in hybrid configurations for added flexibility and cost effectiveness. As a worldwide leader in the field, AirWatch is capable of support its mobility users anywhere across the globe, which EMW believes will be a decisive advantage.

As with all other solutions it offers, EMW will provide value-added services including 24/7 365 support that compliments the AirWatch products. The company has worked closely with the vendor to prepare well defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that will guarantee the highest degree of support to customers through all phases of planning, deployment and operation. EMW has struck an arrangement for AirWatch with UAE telecoms giant Etisalat and is looking to secure more such strategic relationships in the near future.

Commenting on the partnership, Ian Evans, EMEA Managing Director at AirWatch said, “We are eager to make an notable impact on this high-potential market and EMW is the ideal partner for this.
