HP unveils new android-powered tablet

Hewlett-Packard (HP) has unveiled a new android-powered tablet, similar to the Slate 7 that was released in April 2013, ZDnet has reported. The new budget HP 8 features an ARM-based A31s quad-core CPU and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage, twice as much as the Slate 7 Plus, and a 7.85-inch screen. However, its 1,024×768 resolution is lower than the 1,280×800 7-inch display on the Slate 7 Plus.
